Okay you're excited. We get it, the last thing you want to be doing is looking through a black and white instruction manual. So just go through the video tutorials below and you should have your sign up in no time!

Required Bits & Labelled Parts

Using our Stainless Steel Pin Kit

Step One

After unpacking your sign, place it exactly where you want it mounted on the wall. Get a friend to hold it there and use a pencil to mark where all the mounting holes are placed against the wall.
This is the most important part so make sure you’ve marked the holes accurately and have the orientation and placement of your sign exactly as you’d like.

Step Two

Using an electric drill (or hammer drill if you have a concrete wall) equipped with a 5mm twist drill bit, drill a tidy hole directly where the dots you drew are. After you’ve drilled these holes, use your thumb or a hammer to push the plastic wall plugs into the hole. They should slide into place with a firm push (it shouldn’t be easy).
P.S If you don’t want to use the stainless-steel pins, you can stop here and just screw your sign in!

Step Three

Unscrew your stainless-steel pins so you have the hollow base in one hand and the end pin with its plastic ring in your other hand. Put the end pin with its plastic ring to the side and thread a screw through your hollow base. Now carefully insert the end of this screw into a pre-drilled hole and use your Philips Screwdriver to fasten until the stainless-steel pin is securely fastened to the wall. Repeat for all the pre-drilled holes.

Step Four

Finally, take your sign and ensure its mounting holes match up exactly with the bases (they should). Get a friend to help hold the sign in place and take each end pin (with the plastic ring attached) and hand tighten to each of the hollow pins, securing your sign.

Step Five

Now take your black transformer and plug it into the LED control module and then plug the LED control module’s output into your sign.

Step Six

All done! Chuck some batteries into your remote and watch your space come to life! Be sure to have a play around with some of the cool effects your remote control can do!

P.S your sign will also work if you haven’t sorted your remote batteries yet

Using our Stainless-Steel Wire Kit

Step One

Unpackage your sign and measure the distance between the two top mounting holes on the acrylic backboard.

Step Two

Use your tape measure to mark out two holes this distance apart on your ceiling/vertical mounting surface. This is the most important part so make sure they are perfectly parallel to where you want them to be facing.

Step Three

Place each vertical mount on the respective mark so that its centre is directly below the mark you made. Now mark the centre of all three holes of the vertical mount.

Step Four

Mount a 5mm Twist Drill-bit on your electric drill/hammer drill and drill a tidy hole directly where the dots you drew are. After you’ve drilled these holes, use your thumb or a hammer to push the plastic wall plugs into the hole. They should slide into place with a firm push (it shouldn’t be easy).

Step Five

Grab your vertical mount, three screws and your Phillips Screwdriver and secure your vertical mount to your ceiling by fastening a screw into all three wall-plugged holes.

Step Six

After measuring how far you want your sign to hang, measure out and cut two lengths of this length +6cm for the loop from your wire using pliers.

Step Seven

Grab each length of cut wire and simply push an end into the spring-loaded vertical mount, give it a gentle tug to make sure it has caught the wire!

P.S if you ever need to take out the wire or adjust the height, simply pushing down on the spring-loaded top will release the wire.

Step Eight

Thread a Wire Crimp onto one of the hanging wires and grab a friend to help hold the sign in place while you thread the wire through your sign’s mounting hole, and then back through the Metal Crimp creating a loop. Measure out the loop length so each side is 3cm or whatever size you’d like (although the loop size will affect its hanging height). Once you’re happy, use your pliers to squash the metal crimp and secure your loop. Repeat for the other wire.

Step Nine

Now take your black transformer and plug it into the LED control module and then plug the LED control module’s output into your sign.

Step Ten

All done! Chuck some batteries into your remote and watch your space come to life! Be sure to have a play around with some of the cool effects your remote control can do!

P.S your sign will also work if you haven’t sorted your remote batteries yet
